almost a year later, and have now found a solution to the issue of LC generating music.... Lilypond! https://lilypond.org/
the midi file that Lilypond produces (via a LC script) sounds quite reasonable, and (I think) can be customised in code to most instruments.
Lilypond generates a pdf of the sheetmusic & and also a midi file
I can open the pdf with a LC scriptbut I can`t open the midi file using: Just wondering if this is a LC issue, or a operating system issue...??
